Requirements to obtain a Temporary or Permanent Resident card:
FIRST OPTION
1. Process starts at the Mexican Consulate nearest you.
2. You need to make an appointment (email or call) depending the consulate.
You have to take:
-Application. (DOWNLOAD FROM THE WEBSITE)
- Copy of passport first page and all the pages that have stamps.
- Passport size picture with white background, no earrings, no glasses.
- Last six months of bank statements, if you have investments, the last twelve months of statements.
- To apply for Temporary Resident you have to prove monthly income of $4,078 dollars. (Calexico
Consulate per person.
- To apply for Permanent Resident you have to prove monthly income of $6,797 dollars and be retired.

Second person can apply through family bond.
